Finance Manager

Job Title : Finance Manager Department : Finance & Accounts Location : Head Office Reports To : CEO Role Overview : The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of Wok On Fire, ensuring the company’s financial health through budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. The role involves direct coordination with accounts, operations, and management teams to drive cost efficiency, financial discipline, and business growth. Key Responsibilities : 1. Financial Planning & Budgeting Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts for all restaurant units and corporate office. Monitor budget variances and implement cost-control measures. Evaluate CAPEX proposals and ROI. 2. Accounting & Reporting Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate ledger maintenance. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. 3. Taxation & Compliance Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances. Liaise with auditors for statutory and internal audits. Maintain proper documentation for FSSAI, labor laws, and other licenses. 4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor daily cash flow across outlets and corporate accounts. Manage vendor payments and receivables. Coordinate with banks for loans, limits, and transactions. 5. Cost Control & Analysis Conduct outlet-wise and department-wise expense analysis. Track food cost, labor cost, and other operational expenditures. Recommend actions to improve profitability and reduce waste. 6. Team Management Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team. Ensure proper delegation and timely task completion. Conduct regular training and performance evaluations. 7. Business Support & Strategy Provide financial insights to support expansion, franchise, or vendor decisions. Work closely with operations and HR for payroll and budgeting alignment. Evaluate commercial contracts and franchise models. Qualifications : CA / MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification. 5-8 or above years of experience in finance, preferably in the F&B, retail, or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and financial systems. Skills Required : Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and ERP systems. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership and communication skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and deadlines.
