Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and calibrate printing and packaging machines at customer sites.
• Attend breakdown calls and provide timely service support to ensure minimum downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance as per the schedule and ensure machine reliability.
• Train customer operators/technicians on machine operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues in machines and resolve them effectively.
• Coordinate with the service manager and backend team for spares and technical updates.
• Document service reports, installation notes, and customer feedback in the CRM/ERP system.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during service visits.
• Provide remote support and guidance to customers when on-site visits are not possible.
• Identify repeated issues and report them to the design/technical team for product improvement.

Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience in the installation and servicing of mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, servo systems, and basic PLC logic.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Customer-focused approach and strong interpersonal communication.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 70–80%) based on service demands.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Printing Machinery (Offset, Flexo, Screen, Digital, etc.)
• Packaging Machinery (Cartoning, Labeling, Pouching, Corrugation, etc.)
• Machine manufacturing and automation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
