Job Description

Experience & Technical Expertise:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in Informatica, preferably with certification as a Cloud Developer (Advanced). Hands-on expertise in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and administering Informatica Cloud, PowerCenter, and Scheduler.
  • Strong background in SQL, including query development, database/schema design, and view creation.
  • Extensive experience in data modeling and data warehouse architecture.
  • Familiarity with data security and data protection standards within regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to design secure data solutions, incorporating user, schema, query/view, and row/column-level security.
  • Hands-on experience working with diverse data sources such as CSV, XML, JSON, APIs, and SQL databases.
  • Expertise in data cleansing, data quality management, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Track record of leading end-to-end data warehouse projects, utilizing Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud BI, Power BI, from initial design through go-live and ongoing support.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, especially GitHub and ideally Azure DevOps.
  • Strong Linux/Unix shell scripting skills for development and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, change, and release management.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, particularly Agile and SCRUM.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, data flow creation, and report development.
  • Knowledge of DAX for data analysis.
  • Integration experience with Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases and Microsoft Azure Data Lake.
  • Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Experience with OBIEE and OAS.
  • Industry experience in financial services is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Ideally certified as an Informatica Cloud Developer (Advanced).
