About the Role

Fuselage Innovations is seeking a hands-on Electronics Hardware Engineer with strong experience in PCB design, component selection, and hardware bring-up. You will be responsible for end-to-end hardware board design and collaborate closely with the firmware and embedded systems teams to ensure successful integration and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal PCBs from schematic to validation
• Select and validate components based on performance, availability, and cost
• Perform hardware bring-up, testing, and debugging using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
• Collaborate with firmware and embedded systems teams to ensure hardware-software integration
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including schematics, BOMs, layout files, and test reports
• Support prototyping, hardware revisions, and manufacturing handover

Requirements

• Practical experience designing circuits with UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, RS-232, and RS-485
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, termination, shielding, and timing
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and processors such as ARM Cortex-M and STM32
• Understanding of memory interfacing and board-level system integration
• Ability to align hardware design with firmware requirements and constraints
• Knowledge of power optimization and timing considerations in embedded systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in hardware board design, including schematic capture and PCB layout
