We are seeking a seasoned Digital Leader to drive the front-end application strategy for our Wires & Cables segment. This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing Polycab’s digital roadmap, working closely with the Chief Digital Officer and other senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Salesforce technologies, application lifecycle management, and stakeholder collaboration across business units.
Key Responsibilities

Lead execution of Polycab’s digital roadmap for Wires & Cables front-end use cases

Translate business requirements into scalable, robust systems

Identify new digital use cases to enhance operational efficiency and user experience

Evaluate and finalize vendors and application platforms for each use case

Decide build vs. buy strategy for applications (in-house vs. outsourced)

Oversee development and ensure timely delivery of front-end applications

Manage lifecycle and continuity of applications, including support and upgrades

Ensure seamless functioning of the Salesforce (SFDC) portfolio
Team and stakeholder management

Lead a team of 4 (Business Analysts, Project Managers, Support, Salesforce Developers)

Collaborate with business units to gather and prioritize application requirements

Coordinate with external vendors and internal developers for delivery and maintenance
-
Drive cross-functional alignment across digital, business, and tech teams
Must Haves
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
-
12+ years of experience managing Salesforce applications in manufacturing organizations
-
Proven track record in front-end digital transformation for sales/channel teams
Expertise in:

Salesforce technologies (Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce, custom development)

Salesforce license management
-
Integration architecture (Salesforce, React Native apps, Oracle ERP, Datalake)

Application Lifecycle Management

Project Management and stakeholder coordination
Good to have

Experience managing Tier 1/Tier 2 Salesforce vendors and freelance/off-roll talent

Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity
