Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility

Supporting Activities

Desktop Endpoint Management

• Manage and support Windows 10/11 laptops, and Apple mobile devices using Microsoft Intune and Apple MDM solutions

Desktop Endpoint Security Patching

• Coordinate and deploy monthly security patches and updates to all end-user devices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards

Software Packaging & Deployment

• Package, test, and deploy software applications using Microsoft Intune and other deployment tools

Collaboration

• Work closely with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure and efficient endpoint operations

Documentation

• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and known issues

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in endpoint management and support

Major Incident Management

• Working with Service Management, document major incidents through to resolution

Problem Management

• Working with Service Management, document post incident reviews and root cause information, as well as preventative information

Change Management

• Working with Service Management ensure all changes to our environments are documented and approved through appropriate processes

Other

• Carryout any other reasonable duties as requested.

Functional Competencies (Technical knowledge/Skills):

• Strong experience with Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Intune for device management, compliance policies, and application deployment
• Experience with Apple mobile device management (MDM) solutions
• Familiarity with software packaging tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell)
• Understanding of endpoint security practices and patch management
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Experience, Education, and Certifications

• Proven experience in a Desktop Engineer or similar role supporting global environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Apple MDM
• Experience with software packaging and deployment
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102) preferred
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
• Fluent in English
