The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network infrastructure design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires proficiency in designing implementing network devices, with a deep understanding of L2, L3 protocols. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability and security of network infrastructure. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and ready work in flexible timing.

Responsibilities

Implement, maintain and migrate network infrastructure based on Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, ISIS and VPRN.Configure, troubleshoot, Optimize services like ePipe, IES, VPRN.Managing NOKIA NSP platform.Level 3/Level 4 support for network infrastructure on Nokia platforms.Collaborate with other teams to design and implement network security policies and solutions.Conduct regular network audits and implement best practices for network performance and security.Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.Participate in the evaluation and testing of new hardware, networking technologies.Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on Nokia 7250 and 7750 platforms.Strong expertise in IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS along with VPLS , VPRN, IES and VXLAN.Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Nokia 7250 and 7750 routers.Proficiency in network design principles and best practices.Good understanding of network security principles and protocols (e.g., ACLs, IPSec, VPN).Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience with Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) for network management and automation.
