What You’ll Work On

✅ Automate database provisioning, configuration & monitoring

✅ Build internal APIs and self-service tools for DB ops

✅ Drive schema migrations, backups, and disaster recovery planning

✅ Collaborate with DBAs to automate and scale operations

✅ Contribute to CI/CD, IaC, and platform reliability initiatives

Must-Have Skills

• Strong coding in Java or Python

  (Go is a plus), with experience building

  production-grade automation or tooling

Solid DevOps experience

• Source control:

  Git, Azure DevOps

• CI/CD pipeline development

• Automation tools

  : Ansible / AWX

• Operating systems

  : Linux and Windows

Hands-on experience with databases

• Relational:

  PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, SAP Sybase ASE

• NoSQL:

  Apache Cassandra, CosmosDB

• Data warehouse:

  Snowflake, Greenplum, SAP Sybase IQ

Experience with cloud platforms

Familiar with

• Data replication tools

  : Sybase Replication, MSSQL HA, HVR (FiveTran)

• Monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning

  for infrastructure and databases
