Data Analyst - Supply Chain

Position Summary:

Our partner is building a high-performance analytics team to enable real-time, cross-functional decisions across supply chain, finance, and operations. This opportunity sits at the core of that initiative, helping unify and modernize reporting across a fragmented ERP environment with hands-on analytics delivery. As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you’ll work directly with stakeholders in planning, logistics, procurement, and inventory management to turn operational chaos into clarity modeling and transforming ERP data (SAP ECC/S4) using SQL and Power BI. You'll build analytical layers that sit on top of a growing Microsoft Fabric and Databricks platform, supporting both ad hoc firefighting and long-term data product standardization. This is a strong fit for someone who’s been the go-to analytics lead in a reactive, complex data environment and who’s ready to help architect the long-term solution while still delivering immediate business value.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years in a business intelligence, analytics, or reporting role
• Background working with ERP-driven data (SAP ECC or S/4HANA strongly preferred)
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain-driven business
• Experience collaborating directly with operations or supply chain stakeholders
• Hands-on work supporting both recurring and ad hoc reporting needs
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Microsoft Fabric), a plus

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Design and build Power BI dashboards to monitor inventory, procurement, and logistics metrics
• Work directly with supply chain and planning stakeholders to gather requirements
• Write SQL queries to extract and model ERP data for reporting and analysis
• Support high-priority ad hoc analysis requests with quick-turnaround deliverables
• Translate manual Excel workflows into scalable, automated reporting
• Collaborate with the BI Lead to standardize KPIs and enforce reporting best practices
• Cleanse, validate, and govern data to ensure accurate single-source-of-truth outputs
• Help define and evolve data models across SAP and other source systems
• Maintain and improve existing reporting assets based on business feedback
• Work within sprint planning structures to prioritize and align deliverables
• Contribute to the broader modernization of Sonny’s analytics platform and practices
