Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

• Lead formulation, review, and administration of high-value engineering and construction contracts (EPC, Design-Build, Turnkey, etc.)
• Mitigate contractual risks and manage claims, change orders, and disputes
• Ensure compliance with statutory, financial, and contractual obligations
• Interface with legal and project teams for contract enforcement and governance

Procurement Management:

• Devise and execute end-to-end procurement strategies for project packages, materials, and services
• Lead tendering processes – from scope finalization, bid evaluation, to award and onboarding
• Establish supplier qualification protocols and manage high-value negotiations
• Ensure alignment of procurement milestones with overall project schedules

Cross-Functional & Project Support:

• Collaborate with design, planning, execution, and finance teams across all project stages
• Contribute to budgeting, scheduling, and risk management through procurement insights
• Provide commercial oversight across multiple concurrent projects and geographies

Leadership & Governance:

• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams across project sites
• Implement procurement systems, dashboards, and reporting tools for real-time project visibility
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with organizational procurement policies

Candidate Profile:

• Education:

  Bachelor’s in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) with MBA/PGDM preferred

• Experience:

  18+ years of experience in Contracts & Procurement functions
• Strong exposure to large infrastructure, energy, or public-private partnership (PPP) projects
• Prior experience in

  engineering consultancy firms

  ,

  owner’s representative roles

  , or

  client-side procurement & contracts

  in capital projects is highly desirable
• Familiarity with FIDIC, ADB, World Bank, or other international contracting frameworks
• Proven ability in commercial negotiations, vendor development, and strategic sourcing
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
