Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Customer Engagement

• Serve as the

  primary technical and operational contact for one or more customer accounts

  , owning the delivery of managed services.
• Drive regular governance meetings with customers to review SLAs, KPIs, incident metrics, and improvement initiatives.
• Understand customer business objectives—including AI and automation—and align our managed services to support their strategic goals.

Technical Management & Guidance

• Provide

  hands-on leadership

  and mentorship to the managed services team in diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems in AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud operations, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), security, cost optimization, monitoring, and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers to architect, implement, and troubleshoot infrastructure deployments, CI/CD processes, and modern workloads such as AI/ML pipelines.

Driving Innovation & Rapid Learning

• Stay ahead of emerging cloud, AI, and automation technologies, evaluating how they can enhance our service offerings.
• Encourage the team to rapidly learn and experiment with new tools, frameworks, and services—be it in cloud-native AI platforms, new DevOps toolchains, or infrastructure optimization techniques.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Oversee incident, change, and problem management activities, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Identify trends from incidents and metrics, and drive proactive improvements.
• Establish runbooks, standard operating procedures, and automation to reduce toil and improve consistency.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Overall 12+ Years & 5+ years

  of experience managing or delivering cloud infrastructure services on

  Azure and/or AWS

  in a production environment.
• Strong hands-on skills in:

• Terraform

  (or equivalent IaC tool) for provisioning and managing infrastructure.

• DevOps tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar) for pipeline automation.
• Monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Exposure to

  AI workloads, data pipelines, or modern compute frameworks

  is a plus, or a clear passion to learn these quickly.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, IAM, and cost optimization in cloud environments.

Leadership & Adaptability

• Experience leading technical teams in a managed services or consulting environment.
• Ability to run governance meetings, prepare meaningful reports, and confidently communicate with customer stakeholders including IT leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to

  quickly learn new technologies

  and guide the team in adopting them to solve customer problems.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to container platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
• Familiarity with multi-cloud cost management tools, AI ML Ops services, and security frameworks (CIS, NIST).
• Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Terraform Associate.
