Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Migration Engineer with hands-on expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and on-prem to cloud infrastructure migrations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, planning, and executing cloud migration strategies, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud migration strategies for enterprise workloads (VMs, databases, applications, etc.)
Lead migration projects from on-premise data centers to AWS and Azure
Perform discovery, assessment, and analysis of current infrastructure
Use tools like Azure Migrate, AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, and Server Migration Service (SMS)
Architect and deploy hybrid and multi-cloud solutions
Configure and troubleshoot virtual networks, firewalls, VPNs, and storage
Ensure cloud deployments follow security, compliance, and cost-optimization best practices
Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or Ansible
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and App teams for seamless cutovers

Required Skills:

5-8 years of experience in cloud migration projects
Deep expertise in both Azure and AWS platforms
Solid understanding of on-premise infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V/physical servers)
Experience with lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting strategies
Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Knowledge of networking concepts (VNet, VPC, Subnets, NSG, Routing, etc.)
Hands-on with monitoring, logging, and cost analysis tools in cloud platforms
