Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Bidding

  • Identify new business opportunities through platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, Guru, PPH, etc.
  • Create tailored, compelling proposals to win new projects.
  • Track and respond to relevant RFPs with precision and professionalism.

Sales Pipeline Management

  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM software.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff and project kickoff.

Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Provide insights and feedback to marketing/product teams on client demands and behavior.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in a BDE or Pre-Sales role within a software development company.
  • Proven experience with bidding on Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.
  • Sound knowledge of:
  • Custom Development: PHP/Laravel, MERN/MEAN Stack
  • SaaS product structure and monetization
  • Excellent English communication (written & verbal).
  • Strong client-handling, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Familiar with tools like Trello, Jira, Asana, Zoho Projects.
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, and MS Teams for client meetings.
  • Experience dealing with international clients (USA, UK, Canada, Australia).

  • Qualified leads generated monthly
  • Bid-to-project conversion rate
