Automation Engineer – IoT & Smart Manufacturing

Location: Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh

Key Responsibilities:

• Design high-speed monitoring systems with vision/image processing for real-time quality control
• Develop and deploy end-to-end IoT solutions with hardware, firmware, and cloud integration (AWS/Azure/GCP IoT)
• Write robust backend services (Python, MQTT, REST APIs) for sensor data processing and analytics
• Integrate and program robotic systems to drive intelligent automation
• Troubleshoot and optimize IoT device performance, ensuring power efficiency and hardware compliance
• Collaborate across teams to implement scalable, secure, and efficient smart factory systems
• Innovate creative automation solutions aligned with Industry 4.0/5.0 standards

Key Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years in automation engineering with IoT/vision/robotics focus
• Experience in designing vision systems with camera setup, illumination, and algorithm development
• Hands-on with PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell), Python, and backend services
• Strong understanding of PCB design, sensor selection, and embedded integration
• Exposure to robotic arms, collaborative robots, and vision-guided systems
• Problem-solving mindset with a passion for advanced automation technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with smart factory concepts (Dark Factory, Industry 5.0)
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance in IoT environments
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
