• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in preparing ELV system shop drawings.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred).
• Sound knowledge of ELV systems: CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, Structured Cabling, BMS, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with MEP coordination drawings, architectural layouts, and civil drawings.
• Ability to interpret design documents, tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Understanding of international standards for ELV drawings (e.g., NFPA, BICSI, BS, IEC).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in drawing and documentation.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with design, site, and consultant teams.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Produce accurate, coordinated, and detailed ELV shop drawings based on design drawings, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
• Interpret design inputs, schematic diagrams, and technical documents and translate them into high-quality AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on redline mark-ups provided by the site engineers.
• Incorporate site modifications and feedback from consultants and contractors.
• Maintain drawing logs and revision control sheets.
• Organize drawing sheets according to submission standards and ensure proper layering, annotation, and title blocks.
• Coordinate ELV drawings with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Identify and resolve clashes or spatial issues in layouts before site execution.
• Assist in creating: o Cable routing plans o Riser diagrams o Device layout plans o Panel connection diagrams o Cable schedules o Legends and symbols
• Develop and maintain a standard block and symbol library for recurring ELV components.
• Follow company drafting standards and assist in standardization of CAD practices.
• Provide regular updates on drawing status to project engineers.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings for approval and construction phases
