Job Title: Financial Auditor Department: Finance & Audit Reports To: DGM – Finance / Audit Head Location: HO with travel to branches Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Financial Auditor in logistics oversees the integrity of financial transactions, vendor billing, and cost allocations related to warehousing and transportation activities. This role ensures all revenue and expense records are accurate, compliant, and aligned with contractual terms and internal financial controls. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Invoice Audits Verify billing from transporters, WH vendors, and support services. Validate rates, trip sheets, gate passes, and delivery acknowledgments. Freight and Cost Review Audit freight calculations and allocations against contracts. Review demurrage, detention, or penalty costs with supporting approvals. Revenue Assurance Validate client billing (storage, handling, value-added services) vs. SLAs. Check for missing revenue entries and unbilled services. Compliance Checks Verify adherence to GST, TDS, and statutory requirements. Support e-way bill audits and financial reconciliations. Internal Control Monitoring Ensure SOPs related to financial controls are implemented. Highlight leakages, duplicate entries, or misuse of financial privileges. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance. CA Inter/CMA Inter preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics or service industry audits. Sound knowledge of taxation, audit procedures, and ERP systems. Skills Required: Expertise in Excel and financial audit tools. Meticulous financial reconciliation skills. Understanding of logistics costing models. Good communication for coordinating with vendors and internal teams. High ethical standards and confidentiality.
