Role Overview We are seeking a driven and articulate Associate – Business Development to support the growth of our Research & Consulting (R&C) vertical. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in research or consulting and a strong understanding of how insights translate into client impact. In this role, you will work closely with senior business development leaders to identify opportunities, build relationships, and convert leads into projects. Key Responsibilities Support the BD team in identifying and qualifying potential clients across sectors Understand client needs and translate them into tailored research and consulting solutions Assist in proposal development, pricing strategies, and client presentations Coordinate with the research delivery team to scope project feasibility and timelines Build strong internal knowledge of R&C capabilities and case studies to effectively pitch services Maintain CRM records, manage BD pipelines, and support outreach campaigns Participate in client calls, note key action items, and follow up on deliverables Support marketing initiatives for R&C, including email campaigns, partnerships, and webinars Candidate Profile Required Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in research, consulting, business intelligence, or a professional services environment Exposure to client communication, business development, or presales is a strong advantage Strong business acumen with an understanding of how research drives client value Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly grasp new industry domains Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in research delivery (desk research, expert interviews, insight reports) Familiarity with business development processes in a consulting firm Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field What We Offer A high-visibility role in a fast-growing company Exposure to global clients and diverse industries A strong learning environment with mentorship from senior leadership Career growth opportunities within business development and client management Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives Show more Show less
