Job Description

Northeast Chit Fund Services is expanding rapidly, and we’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Assistant Account Manager to support our growth journey. This role is critical to ensuring smooth fund operations, managing customer relationships, and driving local business performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial services, an eye for detail, and the ability to balance operations with on-ground accounting procedures execution.


Responsibilities


  • Business Growth & Execution:

    Support the launch and scaling of chit fund groups tailored to different customer segments.
  • Account & P&L Management:

    Track group-wise fund performance, monitor financial KPIs, and support in managing profitability, collections, and risk exposure.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Build strong relationships with subscribers, field agents, and key stakeholders. Address queries, ensure timely communication, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence:

    Manage onboarding, KYC verification, documentation, and auction processes with high accuracy. Recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:

    Work with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Data Reporting & Analysis:

    Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track performance, defaults, and payouts. Use insights to drive decision-making.
  • Compliance & Risk Monitoring:

    Ensure all chit operations are in line with government regulations and company policies. Collaborate with compliance teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Leadership Support:

    Collaborate directly with senior management on business strategy, performance reviews, and operational initiatives.


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in Accounting and Daily Reporting and respective services roles.
  • Strong understanding of Accounting operations and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and basic financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage relationships across customers, agents, and internal teams
  • Self-motivated, process-oriented, and committed to delivering customer-first service
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Commerce, Business, or Finance preferred
