POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations in the assigned territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing distributor relationships, and expanding market presence for Sattwa Herbals' product portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSales Management
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to senior management
Territory Management
  • Manage and develop relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts
  • Identify and recruit new distribution partners and retail outlets
  • Conduct regular territory visits to ensure product availability and visibility
  • Optimize territory coverage to maximize sales potential
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Provide product training and support to distributors and retailers
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback promptly
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service
Marketing Support
  • Execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives in the territory
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and health awareness programs
  • Coordinate with marketing team for local advertising and promotional activities
  • Provide market feedback to support product development and marketing strategies
Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, and manage sales representatives in the territory
  • Set performance targets and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Foster a positive and motivated sales culture
QUALIFICATIONSEducational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, or herbal products industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Experience in territory management and distributor network development
  • Experience in team management and leadership
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Leadership and team management capabilities
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Knowledge of herbal products and health supplements (preferred)
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for herbal products

LOCATION
  • Territory: Gujarat & Maharashtra
  • Travel: Extensive travel required within assigned territory (70-80%)
