Job Description “Architect / Estimation Engineer /Quantity Surveyor”- Heritage Building works We are heritage restoration and conservation firm and involved in various projects of Govt. department and PSU. It is a LLP incorporated in Jan 2014 at Delhi. We are working decentralized in various restoration projects of heritage buildings at Bhopal, Gwalior, Ahmedabad, Ranchi, and Delhi. To support the on-going projects, we are looking for “Quantity surveyor / Billing Engineer (Building)”. Billing engineers maintain and balance the income generation and advancement of any project at the sites by observing the work from the workplace itself. Education Qualification of a Billing/ Estimation Engineer Or Quantity Surveyor Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Diploma in civil Drafting or civil quantity surveyor or related fields from any reputed college / university with outstanding credentials. Minimum 2 Years of experience in Billing/Estimation/ Planning. Proven experience in billing processes of CPWD or other Govt department Proven experience in Quantity surveying, preparing BOQ, Preparation of Analysis of rates, Deviation of Items, Extra items preparation etc Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements Must know estimation and costing, BBS (Bar Bending Schedule), Rate analysis, Labor and machinery analysis which enables him to carry out billing works at a different stage of construction with proper efficiency and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word and Autocad Software. Familiarity with the methods and regulations of Billing in the Govt. contract of construction industry. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for study of BOQ (Bill of Quantity) as per specifications and taking out quantities from drawings. Quantity survey & estimation. Preparing the details take-off sheet. Prepare quantity sheet from onsite data & drawings Details Preparation and validation of RA bills end of every month for all sites Responsible for verification of certified RA bills Identification and preparation of extra -items. Preparation of monthly reconciliation statement of building material. Estimating and costing, Rate Analysis Preparation and certification bar bending schedule Documentation of work done of each BoQ items Generate daily delivery progress reports
