Position Summary As an Admissions Counselor / Counselor Manager, you will be the first point of contact for students and families exploring study abroad options. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance, managing application processes, and supporting students from inquiry to final admission. The Manager role includes additional responsibilities such as team leadership, strategic planning, and performance oversight. Key Responsibilities For Admissions Counselor: Counsel students and families on educational opportunities abroad, including course, country, and university selection. Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions (virtual/in-person). Evaluate students’ academic backgrounds and assist with profile building. Manage the complete admissions process – applications, documentation, essays, and deadlines. Provide guidance on tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, etc. Coordinate with university representatives and internal departments. Assist with visa guidance and pre-departure preparation. Maintain student records and CRM/database entries. For Counselor Manager (in addition to above):Lead, mentor, and train a team of admissions counselors. Monitor KPIs, conversion rates, and team performance. Design and implement strategies to increase student acquisition and satisfaction. Coordinate with marketing and operations to streamline student onboarding and engagement. Build relationships with university partners and represent the company at events or education fairs. Provide reports and insights to senior leadership. Key RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Education, Counseling, or related field). 2–5+ years of experience in overseas education counseling (for Manager role: 5+ years and 2+ years in leadership). In-depth knowledge of major study abroad destinations (USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, etc.). Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with CRM systems and application platforms (e.g., ApplyBoard, CIALFO, etc.) is a plus.
