Role Description

Web Developer

full-time role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-stack development (front-end and back-end);
• Design user-friendly, responsive web interfaces;
• Maintain and update company websites (primarily WordPress);
• Improve website speed, functionality, and security;
• Implement SEO-friendly site structure and analytics integrations (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console);
• Create and manage landing pages for marketing campaigns;
• Collaborate with marketing, admin, and technical teams;
• Ensure version control, regular backups, and documentation of all changes;
• Track work daily using internal systems and submit monthly change audit reports.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks/libraries;
• Strong experience in WordPress;
• Familiarity with back-end development and basic PHP;
• Understanding of SEO, website performance optimisation, and security best practices;
• Experience working with hosting environments, FTP, and DNS settings;
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and time management skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication;
• Ability to work independently and deliver on time;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred).

Compliance Requirements

• Sign a legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA);
• Submit a valid police verification certificate from their local authority;
• Do not tamper with, disable, or alter any critical website features, security tools, admin settings, or analytics integrations without prior written approval;
• Maintain a detailed log of all changes made to the website;
• Submit a monthly website change audit report, including:
• A summary of changes made;
• Date, time, and reason for each change;
• Confirmation of backups and version control;
• Failure to comply with the above may lead to disciplinary action or termination and legal proceedings.
