Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development & Maintenance:

Design, develop, and maintain dynamic and static websites for the organization.
Ensure responsive design across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
Regularly update content and multimedia elements as required by departments.

Technical Implementation:

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other technologies.
Manage CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or custom-built CMS.
Optimize website speed, SEO, and performance.

Database and Backend Management:

Build and manage secure web-based applications (e.g., admission forms, faculty portals, feedback systems).
Work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Ensure secure data handling and implement backup protocols.

UI/UX Design:

Collaborate with design teams to improve user interface and user experience.
Implement intuitive navigation, accessibility standards, and visually appealing layouts.

Testing and Debugging:

Conduct website testing and resolve bugs or broken features.
Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices.
Monitor uptime and respond to technical issues promptly.

Coordination and Support:

Work closely with marketing, admissions, HR, and academic teams to support digital needs.
Train staff on using CMS or managing web content when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in web development.

Desirable:

Experience in educational or institutional website management.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, hosting environments, and APIs.

Skills and Competencies:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one or more backend languages (PHP, Python, Node.js).
Experience with CMS (WordPress, Joomla, etc.).
Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,897.25 - ₹20,000.00 per month
