Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President / President – Sales to lead and scale our sales and marketing organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing a high-performing commercial team.
This is a leadership role with full P&L responsibility for sales and marketing functions and will directly report to the CEO and Chairman.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
● Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
● Identify new business opportunities, geographies, and customer segments for expansion.
● Drive pricing strategies, product positioning, and competitive benchmarking.
Sales and Service Management
● Lead, mentor, and manage a pan-India sales and service team to achieve monthly, quarterly,
and annual targets.
● Monitor key metrics such as sales pipeline, order book, conversion rates, and customer
acquisition cost.
● Establish robust sales processes and review mechanisms to drive accountability and
performance.
Marketing Leadership
● Oversee marketing strategy including product marketing, branding, digital marketing, and lead generation.
● Work closely with product and engineering teams to align marketing efforts with product capabilities and customer needs.
● Represent the brand at industry forums, exhibitions, and conferences.
Customer Engagement
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
● Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and develop strategies for client retention and
loyalty.
● Explore strategic alliances to enhance reach and offering. Team Development
● Build a high-performance sales and marketing team through effective hiring, training, and performance management.
● Foster a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
18+ years of experience in B2B Sales, preferably in the electronics, capital goods, or industrial
solutions sector.
● Demonstrated success in managing large sales teams and delivering business growth.
● Experience with weighing systems, automation, or related product domains will be an advantage.
● Strong understanding of Indian markets and customer dynamics.
● Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
