TypeScript Developer

Findroids is looking for passionate TypeScript Developers to join our Chennai team. You will be working on developing interactive Excel-based plug-ins for enterprise banking and finance use cases. Your primary responsibilities will include building dynamic task panes, integrate APIs, and enhance Excel automation using the Office JavaScript API, Microsoft 365 integration.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and develop rich, interactive user interfaces inside Excel using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Architect core logic for payment systems, cash reports, and user dashboards using advanced TypeScript.
• Build complex task panes for dashboards, searchable/filterable data grids, and payment status views.
• Implement UI components such as modals, wizards, and multi-step forms for workflows (e.g., account selection, transaction review).
• Work with UI/UX designers to ensure pixel-perfect designs, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Integrate with the Office JavaScript API (Office.js) for Excel sheet automation and data manipulation.
• Consume and manage data from REST APIs for payment and transactional data.
• Implement WebSocket listeners for real-time data updates.
• Develop secure authentication flows with JWT tokens and follow bank-grade security standards.
• Collaborate with other TypeScript and Office.js developers to connect UI with backend logic and API responses.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript in enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience building Excel/Office Add-ins (preferred) or similar browser-based web apps.
• Familiarity with state management and robust API integration.
• Good understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, cards).
• Expertise in REST API and WebSocket integration.
• Experience with secure authentication, Implementing OAuth, handling JWTs, and sensitive data.
• Familiarity with large data handling and performance optimization.
• Optional but preferred:
• Hands-on experience with Office.js API
• Knowledge of Excel.run, workbook/worksheet/range/table automation

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not Mandatory):

• Experience with unit testing, automated test suites, and modern documentation practices.
