Team Lead

What You'll Do…
- The team leader is responsible for ensuring quality customer service by managing a team of employees through motivation, recognition, coaching, training, and problem-solving.
- Invests in team members' capabilities; helps define career goals and development plans; provides constructive feedback and advice.
- To accept direction / responsibility and maintain performance levels as per the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assigned by the management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Regularly assess and mitigate process risks while staying updated on accounting practices
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and vendors, resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve controls within the accounting functions.
What You’ll Need…
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AP/AR, good to have knowledge of R2R domain, preferably in a Shared Service Center environment.
- Handled minimum 20 FTE under the span.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ideally with experience in accounting software like SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite.
- Working knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
