We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. We are seeking a skilled Cloud Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (primarily AWS, Azure, or GCP), infrastructure automation, system administration, and security compliance. This role involves ensuring system availability, performance, and security while supporting deployment pipelines and cloud-native applications What You'll Do Deploy and manage AWS services: EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM. Configure cloud instances, profiles, snapshots, backups, and data retention policies. Maintain cloud inventory and documentation Create infrastructure/network diagrams for clarity and scalability Use Bash, PowerShell, Python or cloud CLIs for infrastructure management and automation tasks Automate provisioning/configuration using CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible. Manage auto-scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS EKS. Integrate security checks (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) in pipelines. Patch and update containers to mitigate vulnerabilities Embed security across the software development lifecycle. Implement runtime security policies, encryption, and IAM best practices. Apply RBAC in Kubernetes and use tools like Falco, Aqua, or Sysdig Collaborate with architects and developers on cloud deployments. Ensure cloud systems are efficient, secure, and cost-effective. Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement Monitor cloud infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues Optimize resource usage for performance and cost-efficiency Implement security policies and patch management. Remediate vulnerabilities in containers, Linux, and cloud environments What You'll Need Expertise in AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM). What You'll Do Analyse and interpret Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs). Translate high-level business and functional requirements into detailed developer ready specifications, workflows, data models, and technical user stories. Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Developers to ensure clarity, completeness, and feasibility of requirements. Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies. Proven experience in interpreting BRDs, FRDs, and converting them into developer ready documentation. Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile and Waterfall).
