Talent Acquisition Manager

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be pivotal in strengthening and managing Maker Lab's hiring processes across APAC. You'll provide strategic talent advisory within an ever-evolving business setting. You're a self-starter who can establish relationships and partnerships, talent management strategies and frameworks to identify talent, build a strong talent pipeline and drive organisational success. In addition to the above responsibilities, stakeholder management is a core part of the role. 

Passion for recruitment and talent engagement, coupled with a few years of experience recruiting across Marketing, Social Media, Events, Creative, Content and Insights roles, is paramount. 

Role:

  • Take full ownership with limited supervision of the end-to-end hiring processes and talent experiences. 
  • Design, plan, and execute selection processes for hiring across the region.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the recruiting flows and execute short and long-term solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and determine the company's talent through project briefings. Analyse hiring needs and support hiring forecasts, including talent-related market research and benchmarks.
  • Hiring interactive marketers, creatives, events specialists, content strategists, social media experts, creative technologists and others who build a bridge between creativity, content and technology.
  • Use key recruitment marketing tools and methods(phone interviewing, video interviewing) to find and secure talent qualified for current and upcoming roles. 
  • Improve recruiting KPIs; create and present related reports.
  • Writing job descriptions to attract talents and clearly depict roles and responsibilities while posting these advertisements on market-specific and relevant job portals.
  • Offer management - able to successfully understand and offer talents competitive remuneration packages, and work alongside Talent Operations on the administration needed for contracts.
  • Research and advise on relevant labour policies, employment legislations and their applications to ensure compliance at all times.
  • Help onboard employees as brand ambassadors as part of the formation of a talent network, internal and external.

You:

  • At least 7+ years of experience as a Recruitment Consultant / Recruiter in-house at a marketing/advertising / digital agency or within a recruitment consultancy or prior experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Experience recruiting for the region or globally is a highly desirable
  • Proven network of marketing and creative talent in APAC. 
  • Fully dedicated to ensuring a positive talent experience through all stages of recruitment. 
  • Strong knowledge of hiring practices and a decent understanding of regional HR-related regulations.
  • Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to ask competency-based questions and shortlist candidates for second-round interviews 
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your own performance and its impact on the company's success.
  • A positive mindset with impeccable influencing and consulting skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills, requiring little supervision.
