Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Mother Teacher to join our team and nurture young learners in the Nursery and Kindergarten (KG) classes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a stimulating, caring, and educational environment for children aged 3 to 6 years. The teacher will engage with children in their formative years, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically. The Mother Teacher will work closely with parents, fellow staff members, and the school leadership to ensure a holistic and positive learning experience. Key Responsibilities: Classroom Management & Instruction: Plan and implement daily lessons and activities based on the curriculum designed for Nursery-KG students. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where children can explore, learn, and develop. Introduce basic academic concepts (language, math, motor skills, etc.) through creative activities, songs, games, and hands-on learning. Foster a sense of curiosity and love for learning in young children. Child Development: Observe and track the developmental progress of each child, identifying areas where support is needed. Encourage emotional and social development by promoting positive interactions among peers. Support the development of language skills through storytelling, conversations, and interactive learning. Parent Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the progress of their child and address any concerns. Organize parent-teacher meetings and events to foster strong relationships and provide insights into children's growth. Classroom Environment: Ensure the classroom is well-organized, clean, and stocked with appropriate learning materials and toys. Create an environment that stimulates imagination, creativity, and exploration. Behavioral Support: Guide and support children with positive discipline strategies and ensure proper behavior management. Promote respect, empathy, and kindness among children. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to plan and implement cross-curricular activities. Participate in professional development opportunities and attend staff meetings regularly. Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the classroom and during outdoor activities. Follow school protocols for health, safety, and emergency procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience teaching young children (Nursery-KG) preferred. Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, caring, and empathetic personality. Ability to work well with children, parents, and colleagues. Creative, energetic, and passionate about working with young children. Skills: Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Ability to develop age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. Good understanding of learning through play and hands-on experiences. Ability to assess and track children's developmental milestones. Proficiency in using basic educational technology tools and resources.
