Sr. UI/UX Designer

Designation – UI/UX Designer
Location - GurugramExperience - 10+ years of total experience as a UI/UX designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX design process:From initial concept to final delivery, ensuring a user-centered approach.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams:Working with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business goals.
• Conduct user research:Conducting interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes and prototypes:Developing low and high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
• Develop and maintain design systems:Ensuring consistency across products and platforms by creating and maintaining design systems.
• Advocate for user-centered design:Promoting best practices in UX design and ensuring a user-friendly experience across all platforms.
• Mentor junior designers:Providing guidance and support to junior designers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends:Continuously learning about new technologies, tools, and design trends to improve user experience.
• Present design solutions:Effectively communicating design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and incorporating feedback.
• Solve complex design problems:Addressing user pain points and finding creative solutions to improve the overall user experience.
• Ensure design consistency:Maintaining a consistent look and feel across all digital products and platforms.
• Analyze business and customer needs:Rigorously analyzing business and customer needs to develop effective design solutions.
• Contribute to product vision:Collaborating with product managers to define the overall UX strategy and goals of a project.
• Create user personas and journeys:Developing user personas and journey maps to understand user behavior and guide design decisions.
• Develop and maintain design documentation:Creating site maps, wireframes, and other documentation to guide the development process.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
• Experience with user research methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus

Education:

Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related field such as Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Arts, or Computer Science.
