Manager – Product Engineering for earliest joining. Location: Hyderabad (TS) Development of mechanical parts for various new products. Work on 3D modeling required for the development of various plastic/sheet metal components and for filing the patent on various new designs Work with various plastic and sheet metal manufacturers to get the module design done as per our requirements Work with plastic and sheet metal manufacturers on production schedule and make sure that the production dispatch schedules are met Complete pre-dispatch quality inspection of the structures, plastic and sheet metal component as required Handling the mechanical/Structural design work for all the Solar/UDC projects Handles the complete mechanical/structural design right from marketing based on the GPS site survey, designing GA drawings, design analysis, fabrication drawings, stage wise erection drawings and complete BOM for solar PV projects Understand the existing structure and electrical drawings for the on-going Solar PV projects and make changes as needed Has to work on software tools such as Solid works, AutoCAD, STAAD to provide the needed design details Coordinate with vendors and provide them all the required drawings and also frequently has to visit the fabrication units of various vendors to evaluate the vendors and also do the quality inspection Coordinate with purchase Department for price negotiation for all the mechanical and plastic components from time to time Constantly look into value engineering and make current products better Provide the needed support to Execution team at various project sites from time to time Education & Experience You have B Tech/BE in Mechanical/Production engineering/ Electrical/Electronic or comparable study paths. Candidate must have 5-9 years of experience in design and development of Li-ion battery pack Experience in Solid works, AutoCAD, Creo Good in battery pack Designing Show more Show less
