Job Summary:

AWS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Groovy scripting) and integrate with Git and Maven.
  • Automate system configuration and deployment using Ansible.
  • Build reusable scripts and automation tools using Python and Shell scripting.
  • Manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and release teams to improve software delivery.
  • Monitor and ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in real-time environments.
  • Enforce DevOps best practices and security guidelines across all stages of development.

Key Skills Required:

  • Cloud:

    AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.)

  • IaC:

    Terraform

  • CI/CD:

    Jenkins (Groovy), Git, Maven

  • Configuration Management:

    Ansible

  • Scripting:

    Python, Shell Scripting

  • Containerization & Orchestration:

    Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)

  • Version Control:

    Git

  • DevOps Tools & Practices:

    End-to-end CI/CD, automated deployments, monitoring

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect) is a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
