Your Impact:
As a development engineer you analyze programs, debugs, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs, primarily for end-users. Using current programming language and technologies writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
What the role offers:
- Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.
- Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.
- Participates as a member of the project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.
- Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Ability to grasp new concepts and technology quickly and handle priorities in the areas of responsibility.
What you need to Succeed:
- 2-5 Years of experience.
- Experience with multiple software systems, design patterns and languages.
- Proficient in client/server development
- Proficient in coreJava programming
- Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts and tools.
- Knowledge of networking and Linux system level calls.
- Knowledge/familiarity with variety Databases.
- Knowledge of gradle, maven build systems
- Experience and familiarity with Virtualization platforms such as VMWare and ESXi.
- Experience/familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity in groovy/grails programming is a plus.
- Experience/familiarity with micro-services architecture.
- Experience/familiarity with Docker containers, Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication verbally and written
- Quick learner, self-motivated Good team player
