Role Summary

Social Media Manager Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Content Development:

  Design visually engaging graphics using Canva that align with brand identity and campaign goals. 

• Social Media Calendar:

  Develop and manage monthly content calendars across Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms. 

• Copywriting & Scripting:

  Draft concise, impactful scripts and captions for posts, Reels, and stories. 

• Publishing & Scheduling:

  Execute timely uploads and scheduling of posts, stories, and campaigns via social media management tools. 

• Community Engagement:

  Respond to comments, direct messages, and mentions to foster a strong digital community. 

• Analytics & Reporting:

  Monitor KPIs, compile weekly/monthly performance reports, and suggest actionable improvements. 

• Trendwatch & Innovation:

  Stay ahead of platform updates, content trends, and competitor strategies. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of

  Canva

  or similar design tools. 
• Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter). 
• Excellent written communication skills with a creative and concise style. 
• Basic understanding of social media insights and performance metrics. 
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
• Prior experience with social media strategy, video content, or reels is a plus. 

Preferred Background

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields. 
• Demonstrated interest or portfolio in content creation or digital branding.
