We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Expert to design, build, and deploy an internal data platform portal in SharePoint Online. This portal will serve as a central hub for explaining the architecture of an Azure-based data platform, documenting onboarded data sources, and integrating Power BI dashboards for business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop a modern SharePoint Online portal to support a data platform initiative.
Build and configure site structure, navigation, and pages aligned with data platform needs.
Integrate Power BI reports using the Power BI web part with secure, role-based access.
Build and manage SharePoint lists/libraries for tracking data sources, documentation, and updates.
Work with the data engineering and analytics teams to embed architecture diagrams, documentation, and dashboards.
Enable access request workflows using Power Automate or other tools.
Ensure the portal is user-friendly, searchable, and secure based on Azure AD roles and SharePoint permissions.
Implement version control, metadata tagging, and content governance best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Online (Modern Experience).
Strong skills in designing user-friendly intranet portals with modern web parts, lists, and libraries.
Experience embedding Power BI dashboards within SharePoint.
Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools : Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, OneDrive.
Understanding of permissions and security management in SharePoint and Azure AD.
Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Purview, etc.) is a strong plus.
Experience with document management, content structuring, and governance within SharePoint.
Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver a tailored portal.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in data platforms or analytics environments.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS, PowerShell, or SPFx is a bonus but not required.
Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certifications (e.g., MS-600, MS-700).
