Server Administrator

SAP System Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP environments (SAP ECC and SAP S/HANA ).
• Perform daily monitoring and health checks of SAP systems, ensuring system availability and performance.
• Manage SAP transport landscapes, including transport requests and change management.
• Perform SAP system upgrades, patches, and system refreshes.
• Monitor SAP system logs and resolve system errors or issues promptly.
• Manage SAP user roles and authorizations, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Coordinate with SAP functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Other Server Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain other critical servers (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, Database Servers).
• Perform regular system backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor server performance and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage server security, including firewalls, antivirus, and access control.
• Implement and maintain virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Ensure servers are compliant with industry standards and internal policies.
• Plan and implement server upgrades, patches, and security updates.
• Provide support for server-related issues and coordinate with vendors as necessary.

Networking and Infrastructure Support:

• Collaborate with network administrators to ensure seamless network connectivity for servers.
• Support the IT team in managing the overall IT infrastructure, including storage, networking, and cloud services.
• Assist in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure projects to support business needs.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all server configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Generate regular reports on server performance, uptime, and security status.
• Document and maintain a disaster recovery plan for all servers.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the IT and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Provide training and support to end-users on server-related technologies.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand and fulfill their IT needs.
