The Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer with Worley,

you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Lead structural design and analysis across bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and related civil structures.
• Apply advanced knowledge of reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel structures, and composite systems for both new and existing infrastructure.
• Manage design outputs aligned with Austroads, AS, Eurocodes, and client-specific standards.
• Coordinate with geotechnical, civil, water, transport, and environmental teams to develop integrated project solutions.
• Support tender development, feasibility studies, detailed designs, and constructability reviews.
• Lead quality assurance and technical review processes across design stages.
• Act as a client interface for technical discussions and project coordination.
• Contribute to sustainability, safety in design, and innovation across projects.
• Provide technical mentoring and supervision to junior engineers and drafters.
  

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred(CPEng with Engineers Australia or eligible).
• 8–12+ years’ experience in structural engineering with a strong emphasis on bridge and transport infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering multidisciplinary projects within a consultancy environment.
• Proficient in design tools such as SpaceGass and Strand7.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards, Austroads, and MainroadsWA specifications.
• Knowledge of digital delivery processes (e.g., BIM, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
