The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer with Worley,
you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Lead structural design and analysis across bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and related civil structures.
- Apply advanced knowledge of reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel structures, and composite systems for both new and existing infrastructure.
- Manage design outputs aligned with Austroads, AS, Eurocodes, and client-specific standards.
- Coordinate with geotechnical, civil, water, transport, and environmental teams to develop integrated project solutions.
- Support tender development, feasibility studies, detailed designs, and constructability reviews.
- Lead quality assurance and technical review processes across design stages.
- Act as a client interface for technical discussions and project coordination.
- Contribute to sustainability, safety in design, and innovation across projects.
- Provide technical mentoring and supervision to junior engineers and drafters.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status preferred(CPEng with Engineers Australia or eligible).
- 8–12+ years’ experience in structural engineering with a strong emphasis on bridge and transport infrastructure.
- Proven track record delivering multidisciplinary projects within a consultancy environment.
- Proficient in design tools such as SpaceGass and Strand7.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards, Austroads, and MainroadsWA specifications.
- Knowledge of digital delivery processes (e.g., BIM, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
