Role And Responsibilities

✅ Managing, optimizing, and securing our cloud-based SQL databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
✅ Design and implement scalable and secure SQL database structures in AWS and GCP environments. ✅ Plan and execute data migration from on-premises or legacy systems to AWS and GCP cloud platforms. ✅ Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and fine-tune queries and indexes for optimal efficiency. ✅ Implement and manage database security protocols, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with regulations. ✅ Develop and maintain robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. ✅ Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patching, updates, and troubleshooting database issues. ✅ Work closely with developers, DevOps, and data engineers to support application development and deployment. ✅ Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across distributed systems. ✅ Keep up with emerging technologies, cloud services, and best practices in database management.

Required Skills:

✅ Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator with expertise in AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
✅ Strong knowledge of SQL database design, implementation, and optimization. ✅ Experience with data migration to cloud environments. ✅ Proficiency in performance monitoring and query optimization. ✅ Knowledge of database security protocols and compliance regulations. ✅ Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies. ✅ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. ✅ Strong collaboration and communication skills. ✅ Knowledge of DevOps integration.
