Job Description

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with strong expertise in the CodeIgniter framework to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality web applications while following best coding practices and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using PHP CodeIgniter. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, front-end developers, and product managers. Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Integrate third-party APIs and services. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development using CodeIgniter framework . Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases. Proficient in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery. Experience with RESTful API development and integration. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Good understanding of MVC architecture. Ability to write reusable and modular code. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Good to Have: Experience with other PHP frameworks like Laravel, Symfony. Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
