Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Network Engineer located in Abu Dhabi at KGiSL. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for network administration, engineering, troubleshooting, network security, and network design on a daily basis. Job Summary The Core Networking Level 3 Engineer is a senior technical role responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing high-performance core network infrastructure. This includes routing, switching, MPLS, BGP, SD-WAN, data center networks, and cloud connectivity. The engineer will act as the highest escalation point for complex network issues, ensuring maximum uptime, security, and scalability. Qualifications & Skills · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience). · Experience: 7+ years in core networking, with expertise in: o Protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, IPv6. o Hardware: Cisco (ASR/Nexus),SonicWALL, FortiGate, Palo Alto, F5. o Tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk. o Interconnect. · Certifications (Preferred): CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, or equivalent. · Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
