Experience:

• Experience of 10 yrs to 15 yrs after qualification having worked in various industries in and out of India including a SAAS business.
• Must have management experience of a team.
• Have experience of using a cloud based accounting system ideally QuickBooks/Xero experience.
• Experience of FRS and IFRS accounting.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage our accounting operations. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) across our group of companies, using cloud-based accounting software, and ensuring the integrity of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the finance team.
• Reporting to the Financial Controller.
• Ensure monthly billing and month end close delivered by deadline.
• Produce and oversee the production monthly Management information report.
• Oversee and manage the company’s day to day accounting functions, including maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with IFRS.
• Ownership of accruals, prepayments and fixed assets and other monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Managing Quarterly VAT/GST returns.
• Ensure Accounts receivable DSO targets are met.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
• Manage the use of accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, ensuring accurate data entry and financial reporting.
• Utilize cloud-based accounting software to streamline financial processes and improve data accessibility.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and budget management.
• Assisting with the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process.
• Support quarterly and yearend group audit.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years of post-certification experience in accounting.
• knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and proficiency in Xero.
• Excellent Excel skill (VLOOKUP’s & Pivots modelling).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
