Job Description

Job Title: Data Analyst – Procurement Insights Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support procurement operations through data cleansing, visualization, and strategic insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw procurement data into actionable intelligence that drives cost savings and sourcing efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Clean, validate, and standardize extracted datasets in line with industry best practices and client-specific requirements. Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and reporting tools using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other approved analytics platforms. Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement data to identify tail spend, category-level insights, and cost-saving opportunities. Segment and categorize procurement data by business unit, supplier, spend category, and geographic region to support targeted sourcing strategies. Generate periodic reports and executive summaries for review by the client’s Procurement leadership team. Translate data-driven trends and findings into clear, actionable sourcing recommendations. Collaborate closely with internal buying teams to ensure data outputs align with sourcing priorities and project selection criteria. Qualifications: Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a procurement or supply chain environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools. Strong understanding of data cleansing and standardization techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
