What You'll Do

Business Development Manager

Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:

• Open new markets:

   Identify the right countries, partners, and opportunities where AOKI can shine.

• Build partnerships:

   Lead outreach and negotiations with importers, distributors, retailers, and leasing companies across Europe, the U.S., the Middle East, and Australia.

• Navigate complexity:

   Work across certifications, Incoterms (FOB/CIF/DDP), logistics, and pricing models to ensure smooth sailings .

• Lead from the front:

   Represent AOKI at international expos, B2B events, and trade missions — virtually or in person.

• Make data your friend:

   Maintain pipelines, track conversions, and feed insights back into the product and strategy teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in 

  international business development or B2B export sales

   — preferably in EVs, bicycles, auto components, or consumer hardware.
• Hands-on experience with 

  distributor/retail network development

  , commercial negotiations, and trade operations.
• Strong grip on 

  export regulations, trade compliance, Incoterms, and certifications

  .
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-cultural negotiation skills.
• A self-starter who loves the thrill of breaking into new markets and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in 

  e-bikes, EVs, mobility hardware

  , or similar verticals.
• Understanding of 

  export schemes

   like RoDTEP, MEIS, or EPCG.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and dashboards.
• Fluency in any foreign language (French, Spanish, German) would be a cherry on top.
• MBA in Marketing / International Business (or equivalent real-world experience).
