Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and scale core backend services and infrastructure to support high-traffic applications.
Architect and enhance infrastructure for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
Design and implement APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
Build and optimize data pipelines for real-time processing and analytics.
Optimize database performance and ensure the ability of backend systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-scale features and improve system performance.
Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and cloud infrastructure management.

Requirements

3+ years of backend development experience in high-scale environments.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript for web development and/or Python for RAG applications.
Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and OpenAI embeddings.
Strong understanding of APIs and their best practices.
Familiarity with Redis and caching strategies.
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Ability to articulate and reason through architectural decisions.
Willingness to learn and adapt to SQL and NoSQL databases.

Good To Have

Experience with search technologies (Elasticsearch, Solr, etc. ).
Background in job boards, programmatic search, or large-scale marketplaces.
Exposure to AI/ML-driven applications and data-driven decision-making.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
