Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Variant Configuration (VC) to join our SAP implementation/support team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP SD processes, extensive knowledge of product configuration using SAP LO-VC, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex product requirements into system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for complex configurable products and design appropriate solutions in SAP SD with Variant Configuration (VC).
• Configure the SAP SD module including sales order processing, pricing, billing, delivery, credit management, and output determination.
• Design and implement variant configuration models including characteristics, classes, object dependencies (procedures, constraints, selection conditions), and super BOMs/routings.
• Handle end-to-end SD-VC implementation and support activities, including user training and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PP, MM, FI, and PLM) for integration touchpoints.
• Participate in the complete project lifecycle: requirements gathering, blueprinting, realization, testing (unit/integration/UAT), cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Work with ABAP developers to define functional specs for custom developments related to SD/VC.
• Provide support for existing SAP SD/VC solutions, analyze and resolve issues, and implement change requests.
• Optimize pricing procedures to support VC-related price conditions and logic.
• Support data migration and testing of configurable materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of SAP SD experience, with at least 3+ years in Variant Configuration (LO-VC).
• Strong configuration skills in SD and VC areas, including experience with configurable materials (KMAT), pricing with VC, and advanced dependency logic.
• Good knowledge of integration with SAP MM, PP, and FI.
• Hands-on experience in preparing functional specs and working with technical teams.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong plus.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP CPQ or SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) is a bonus.
• Experience with EDI, IDoc processing, and third-party logistics integration.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project methodology.
• SAP SD/VC Certification is an advantage.
