Job Description

The role is responsible to promote the CPL brand and generate revenues by pro actively seeking and managing allocated key accounts opportunities in the defined geographical area. Responsibilities Budget and Profitability responsibilitiesFull accountability for sales revenue & profitability for defined key client portfolioAbility to forecast potential sales revenue for key clientsProvide accurate sales reports and account analysisPrepare and negotiate commercial offers to drive profitable growth in line with targetsMarket Intelligence Develop a strategy to capture and maintain a competitive intelligence database, ensuring accuracy of informationShare market intelligence insights and data to ensure appropriate action is taken to position CPL as a choice of considerationUnderstand and address local competitive pressuresDevelop and implement a social media strategy that builds a community of customers and links this community with potential new business opportunitiesDeliver commercial and effective strategyDevelop and implement commercial strategy for the allocated geographic areas and customer portfolio in line with global brand identity and strategyEstablish commercial operating framework to build successful profitable client partnershipsIdentify client’s needs and market trends in collaboration with the internal Marketing, Development and NPD teams, highlight new product opportunities, and present new ideas or strategies to the customersIdentify potential new customers and create CPL technology awareness to generate new business interestsLeverage CPL technology strength and capabilityDevelop targeted and scalable communications to promote the CPL technology to customersManage Current relationships and future business opportunitiesDevelop excellent relationship with internal and external clients to execute commercial strategyBe a competent partner internally & externally – an expert for the for relevant fragrance market in joint brainstorming sessions and workshops with clientsEstablish and execute compelling account plans for key customers in the portfolioIdentify business development opportunities for integration into regional and global CPL strategyValue CreationEnsure client supply chain objectives, processes, organization, scorecards are well communicated to CPL operationsConsult with customer service on key customer supply issues and agree on communication planAgree and support implementation of optimum supply chain solutions for customers and CPL (lead time, inventory, supply, networks, etc.)Ensure optimal working capital management (payment terms agreements, awareness of receivables status and support/intervene when required)Have a clear understanding of customer regulatory requirements/ changes and regularly inform internal CPL teams Qualifications Between 5-7 years of sales experience in the fragrance industryPassionate with excellent knowledge of the fragrance industry and the target markets & categoriesComputer literate and proficient in using Microsoft Excel & PowerPointExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal and influencing skillsDynamic, service-minded team playerCustomer focusedVery good problem-solving skills
