Job Description

Sales Head / Business Head Location: Noida Experience: 10+ years Technologies: IT Infrastructure, Security, IOT solutions, conferencing, Mobile & Cloud Technologies, AI & Automations. Purpose of Role:  Ready to work in a startup company to enhance the capabilities.  Purpose of a Business Development Management Lead is to define articulate and implement the  organizations strategy for selling products or services. He/ She develops forecasts and strategies  to achieve sales at price levels ensuring profitability. He/ She actively seeks out major  customers in both Govt & Enterprise sectors and forms good relationships with key influencers and buyers.  Apart from handling is KRA as an individual contributor, he/ she is a team leader who is able to  motivate and ensure a highly effective team of BDM / Sales Managers.  The role of Business Development Management Lead is pivotal in achieving these objectives by  performing the following key responsibilities.  Key Responsibilities:  Developing and maintaining strategies to promote the company’s e-governance & e- learning  solutions, and services, to government agencies and enterprise customers.  Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate leads through market research,  networking, cold calling and referrals.  Establish and maintain long term relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the  government & enterprise clientele and understand their needs and challenges.  Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value  proposition and benefits of the Company’s IT solutions and services.  Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.  Coordinate with internal teams such as product development, technical support, and finance to  ensure smooth delivery of projects, and customer satisfaction.  Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor’s activities and customer feedback to identify  new product features, service improvements, and business opportunities.  Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, revenue, and customer feedback, to  senior management.  Develop a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy to maximize sales opportunities.  Direct the Sales/ BD team in generating proposals that define a clear path to client satisfaction  and revenue growth.  Investigate factors impacting sales performance.  Leverage innovations to maximize revenue of traditional and digital assets and products.  Provide advice when preparing bid documents and integrated proposals for key accounts.  Attend Industry events, trade shows, conferences, and seminars, to increase brand awareness and generate leads.  He/She should be kept abreast of industry trends, market and competitors' activities, and serves  as a business representative at major industry events, conferences or trade shows.  Develop and maintain a network of contacts and partnerships with government officials,  agencies, consultants, and other stakeholders in the enterprise sector.  Arranging the meetings with the prospective clients such as government agencies, NGOs, or private companies.  Ownership of improving ‘customer experience’ of clients  Training business developers and sales colleagues  Cross-Functional / Vertical Collaboration within the company Qualifications: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business, marketing, or Education (MBA preferred) Skills/ Experience: ▪ Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role while supporting Enterprise & Govt sectors. ▪ Past experience of managing Govt. clients will be important. ▪ Sales or BD Team Management skills will be looked into ▪ Proficiency in English and other relevant languages. ▪ Market knowledge and communication and negotiation skills. ▪ Ability to build rapport and work with diverse stakeholders. ▪ Time management and planning skills. ▪ Influencing Skills JOB STANDARDS Trustworthy: Be honest and promise what we can deliver and communicate clearly throughout the delivery to ensure any concerns are shared upfront without any opaqueness. Delegate or seek assistance from colleagues when necessary to ensure you deliver your promises. Customer Connected: Put yourself in the shoes of the customer and align yourself with his need or concerns. Do not present internal issues, however relevant, to a customer to mitigate an impacted delivery. Empathize with the needs of GenicMinds customers to ensure all reasonable requirements are accomplished.
