Job Description: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant – Planning & Finance

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant with a strong focus on Planning capabilities and deep Finance domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and delivering SAC Planning solutions aligned with customer requirements, especially in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

·        Engage with business stakeholders to gather planning and reporting requirements, primarily in Finance (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.)

·        Design and implement SAP Analytics Cloud Planning models, data actions, allocations, and value driver trees.

·        Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA (or other ERP systems) and SAP BW/4HANA for actuals, master data, and transactional planning inputs.

·        Develop stories, dashboards, and interactive visualizations to support financial and operational decision-making.

·        Configure forecasting scenarios, multi-version planning, and collaborative input forms for various user groups.

·        Translate complex business problems into efficient, scalable SAC Planning solutions.

·        Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance Controllers, FP&A teams, and IT.

·        Conduct user training, prepare documentation, and support UAT and deployment phases.

·        Stay updated with SAP’s roadmap and innovations in SAC and SAP BTP relevant to Planning.

Required Skills

·        Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning.

·        Proven domain expertise in Finance, especially in areas such as FP&A, cost center planning, profitability analysis, and financial consolidation.

·        Hands-on experience with SAC Planning features: public/private dimensions, data actions, advanced formulas, input tasks, and calendar events.

·        Strong understanding of financial planning processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking.

·        Experience in data integration using SAC connections to S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and flat file sources.

·        Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience with SAP BTP, Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC), or Group Reporting is a plus.

·        Professional certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud Planning or SAP S/4HANA Finance.

·        Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and solution documentation standards.
