Job Overview

Milagrow Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Robotics Instructor to lead our Robotics Summer Camp for students in Grades 1st - 12th The instructor will deliver a dynamic curriculum tailored for beginners and intermediate learners, blending interactive theory with hands-on, theme-based practicals. This role requires a skilled educator with a strong background in robotics, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to inspire young minds in STEM.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development:

  Create engaging and interactive course content covering theory, theme based practicals and quizzes by age group.

• Hands-On Instruction:

  Guide students in assembling, programming, and troubleshooting robots using kits, sensors, and coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python, Arduino).

• Student Engagement:

  Foster a fun, collaborative, and innovative learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.

• Assessment & Showcase:

  Conduct certification assessments on regular basis.

• Classroom Management:

  Oversee daily activities, ensure safety during practical's, and adapt lessons to varying skill levels.

• Mentorship:

  Provide individualized feedback to students and inspire them to explore robotics and STEM further.

• Program Support:

  Collaborate with the Program Director to refine the curriculum, source materials, and ensure smooth camp operations.

• AI Lab:

  Manage the Robotic Lab established in School/Institution etc

Qualifications

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (teaching degree required).
• Course certification in robotics (e.g., from a recognized institution or robotics program).

• Experience:

• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in robotics education, training, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming robots.
• Participation in robotics competitions (e.g., FIRST Robotics, World Robot Olympiad) as a competitor, mentor, or coach.
• International experience (e.g., teaching, working, or competing abroad) is highly desirable.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in robotics hardware (sensors, motors, microcontrollers like Arduino/Raspberry Pi) and software (block-based and text-based coding).
• Understanding of AI and ML and implementation in robotics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and staff effectively.
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners while challenging intermediate learners.

• Other Requirements:

• Passion for STEM education and mentoring youth.
• Willingness to work on-site 6 days per week during the school calendar.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a STEM or education-related field.
• Experience with advanced robotics platforms (e.g., ROS, LEGO Mindstorms).
