The opportunity

Electrical engineer focuses on delivering innovative, reliable, and sustainable electrical solutions while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. An electrical bushing designer works on complex design challenges in OIP and RIP bushing technologies to produce highly competitive bushing design.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Analyze bushing design for product development, process design, and product application support
  • Refer global standards like IEC and IEEE while working on market and customer requirements
  • Perform design calculations and validations using analytical tools and numerical simulations
  • Prepare electrical design rules or guidelines, technical documents, test specifications, etc.
  • Provide technical support to project team during design, manufacturing, and testing
  • Provide sustainable solutions to improve bushing assembly and installation processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and performance
  • Contribute to product or process innovation by exploring upcoming trends in bushing technology
  • Investigate technical problems using effective problem-solving techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, SWOT analysis)
  • Possess strong knowledge and experience of working on dielectric simulations using FEA, condenser winding and other manufacturing processes of bushings
  • Possess strong knowledge and experience of electrical testing and qualification procedures of bushings
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • 5+ years of industrial experience in electrical design or engineering
  • Working experience of bushing design or other relevant high voltage electrical products, dielectric simulations using commercial FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL)
  • Knowledge of condenser core manufacturing, insulation materials, and high voltage electrical testing
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, global standards, OEM regulations, and best industrial practices
  • Knowledge of software programming, automation, digitalization, or AI is highly desired but not required
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required
